Eris Industries and Ledger Partner to Provide Strong Security for Enterprise-Level Blockchain Services

Eris Industries has entered into a strategic partnership with Bitcoin hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger, which will provide security for it. The cooperation between the two companies will develop more solutions for Eris' infrastructure and provide a "stronger security layer" for the development of Eris' enterprise-level blockchain services.

Eris Industries believes that the cooperation between the two companies is a win-win choice for both parties. Eris said that Leger is one of the "technologically advanced" companies in the field of digital currency security, providing consumers and enterprises with trustworthy hardware. Not long ago, Leger used TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) and HSM (Hardware Security Module) solutions to create its own operating environment in the B2B market.

凯西•库尔曼, CEO of Eris, said:

“Ledger has done an outstanding job in securing blockchains and managing private keys. Ledger’s BOLOS platform is an important security solution that fills a critical security gap in the blockchain ecosystem. Therefore, we are very excited to work with Ledger. Together, we will provide our users with the most flexible, easy-to-use and user-friendly application development tools on the market today.”

Ledger is also excited about the cooperation between the two parties and said that it will work with Eris to create technological breakthroughs. Ledger is very optimistic about Eris' open source platform, which is an enterprise-level blockchain application development protocol. Eris has been adopted by 40 large global financial institutions, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). The platform developed by Eris is the only application that is available on both the Amazon Web Services Marketplace and Microsoft Azure. Ledger CEO Eric Larchevêque said:

“Eris Industries is a fast-growing blockchain infrastructure provider with many Fortune 500 companies as customers. We look forward to deploying our solution into Eris’ infrastructure, bringing a stronger layer of security to the management of their critical workflows and cryptographic primitives.”

Providing greater security to the Eris platform environment is Ledger’s goal, and Eris fits right in with the core foundation of the Ledger team as it “encourages developers to embrace participatory software architecture.” The two companies believe that this collaboration will bring significant innovation to the market.
