Ripple, a company that provides financial settlement solutions using blockchain technology, has announced the official opening of its European headquarters in London. In order to meet the increasing demand of the European market, it is very necessary for Ripple to set up a headquarters in Europe. The newly appointed Ripple European General Manager, Daniel Aranda, will serve as the head of the European headquarters, and the newly hired industry veteran Patricia Pittomvils will serve as the sales director. Aranda was one of the company's first employees and has been a key member of the company's business development team since 2013, helping the company shape its overall development strategy and build customer channels. Currently, most of Ripple’s partners, such as Santander and Fidor Bank, are from Europe. Earlier in her career, she worked as a regional sales manager for SWIFT for 10 years. As Ripple's Head of European Sales, Pittomvils will need to apply her knowledge and practical experience in the payment field to establish and strengthen partnerships with European customers.
