Problem students in the eyes of teachers let their dreams flourish

Wali is the only child in his family. His mother is a teacher and his father is an employee of a public institution. His family conditions are very ordinary. In Wali's eyes, his uncle is where his dream began. He said: "My uncle was the first one in the village who stayed in Beijing's education system after graduation. Since then, I have dreamed of working and living in Beijing one day." This dream that took root since childhood has now blossomed elsewhere, but it has borne fruit.

Wally had good grades since he was young, and he entered the best junior high school in the county. But at this time, Wally was addicted to the Internet, and he was not addicted to games, but to Internet products and technologies. He was obsessed with it. He transferred six times in three years of junior high school. He became a problem student in the eyes of teachers and a bad boy in the eyes of elders. However, the bad boy's dream was slowly sprouting at that time, and it was also at that time that his strong interest in the Internet laid the groundwork for his future entry into the fields of virtual currency and domain names.

Uneasy about being ordinary, yearning for a passionate life

On March 15, 2012, the 22-year-old Wali was dissatisfied with the comfortable life in the power industry system and resigned from his job in Yunnan and moved to Beijing. Recalling the original decision and all the experiences that followed, Wali did not regret it. He said: "At that time, I was thinking about one thing, what kind of life I want to live, whether the current situation is what I want. When I denied myself, I resolutely quit my stable job because this is not the life I want."

Life can be ordinary, but only if you have an extraordinary heart can life be more exciting, and such excitement is something that the job at that time could not give you. "If I were to choose again, I would still choose to leave," Wall-E said confidently. This is also the biggest difference between Wall-E and most young people who are content with the status quo.

The sadness behind success

After resigning, Wally's life was not smooth. In April of the year he resigned, he went to Beijing to look for a job, but he never expected that. What was worse than this was a sudden serious illness, which lasted until August. During this period, Wally lost 30 kilograms.

Recalling those difficult and painful days, Wally did not complain too much. Instead, he felt that it was after experiencing life and death that he became more clear about his goals and learned that he should keep a glimmer of hope in life even when it was difficult. Later, he joined the e-commerce industry and worked as an operations manager for a start-up liquor e-commerce company in Fengtai District, Beijing, and his performance has been good.

It was not until March 2013 that Wali left Beijing. Because of his girlfriend, he moved to Hangzhou. At first, he worked as an operations manager for a German-funded foreign company in Hangzhou. Later, the news that the milk restriction in Hong Kong caused a surge in domestic milk powder prices made Wali decide to do it himself. So, he and his friends jointly invested in countries such as Germany, France, and New Zealand to purchase imported milk powder. At the end of May, their first batch of milk powder was purchased and returned to China. Unfortunately, their QQ account was stolen during the period, resulting in his mother being defrauded of more than 30,000 yuan. What he could not have imagined was that at the end of June, the domestic imported milk powder market was saturated, and the price plummeted. Wali suffered heavy losses and was penniless in less than a month.

"I still remember clearly that in July, I only had 25 yuan on me. I used these few dozen yuan to share the good and bad times with my girlfriend. We ate white rice porridge with fermented bean curd, and we ate it for nearly a week. At that time, I was always planning in my mind that I must let the person who accompanied me live a better life in the future, so as to make up for the time of sharing the good and bad times." Recalling the past several years later, Wally spoke very slowly, as if he was slowly replaying the scene at that time in his mind, and he was very grateful to his wife for her support at that time.

Although the purchase of milk powder dealt a heavy blow to Wally, it did not make him lose confidence and passion. Instead, when he was using Google to bypass the firewall, he accidentally came across Bitcoin in the news, and the fire of hope was rekindled. "It was the end of July, and I invested all my family savings of 275 yuan in Bitcoin trading. I made 600 yuan on the first day, and a week later I made a total of 5,000 yuan. I was very excited at the time. Through continuous high-frequency trading of Bitcoin and some other virtual currencies, my assets accumulated to more than 100,000 yuan. At that time, I only slept 2 hours a day. My girlfriend thought I was crazy, but what I wanted was to give her a home and a stable and happy life."

Since then, Wall-E has thrived in the Bitcoin field, but it is much easier said than done. Fortunately, his efforts have finally paid off. Through high-frequency trading of buying low and selling high, and the help of some friends in the cryptocurrency circle, and sharing information and resources, he accumulated more than 1.4 million yuan in September. By October, the price of Bitcoin rose to more than 1,600 yuan, and he quickly went long on leverage and futures, earning a lot of money. During this period, Wall-E also spent more than 300,000 yuan to buy a batch of graphics card mining machines for mining. At this time, Wall-E was already well-known in the cryptocurrency circle and participated in a salon jointly organized by a Bitcoin exchange and Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance.

By March 2014, Wali admitted that his earnings from Bitcoin had reached nearly 10 million yuan. In June, he also deployed two large-scale Bitcoin mines in western Yunnan and Xuzhou, Jiangsu, and continued to expand his business. In September 2015, he invested in a kitchen and bathroom integrated ceiling factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang; in October 2015, he invested in an Internet home improvement project in Hangzhou; in November 2015, the domain name investment industry showed good news, and he transferred part of his energy and time to the domain name investment circle. In December 2013, Wali bought a house in Hangzhou, fulfilling his promise to his girlfriend to settle down there. In July 2015, he got married in his hometown of Yunnan, and finally gave his wife a happy home.
