Deloitte and other blockchain industry giants help the Digital Trade Association establish a smart contract alliance

The Chamber of Digital Commerce, a group of leading digital asset and blockchain companies (including Microsoft), plans to establish an industry-leading Smart Contract Alliance (SCA) to explore real-world applications of this emerging technology. The Chamber of Digital Commerce issued a press release on the plan, stating:

Smart contracts can bring higher efficiency, more transparency and ultimately automated management to all industries. The goal of SCA is to popularize the knowledge of smart contracts and promote their application. We will host seminars and work to establish industry standards and policy frameworks.

SCA hopes to deepen the understanding of this industry by popularizing the education of smart contract technology and bring this technology to the market as soon as possible. SCA mainly targets enterprises and some politicians.

Mark Smith, CEO of smart contract platform Symbiont, will lead the SCA technical team to explore the application of smart contracts. He said:

As a leader in smart contract technology, Symbiont's ultimate goal is practical application. SCA helps build a bridge between concept and reality and promote the further development of smart contracts.

Sean Murphy, partner at Norton Rose Fullbright, is the legal advisor to SCA. Regarding the establishment of SCA, he said:

The practical application of some disruptive technologies, such as smart contracts, cannot be achieved without the help of laws and policies.
