China's first blockchain insurance card is launched, offering 2 million yuan of aviation accident insurance for 3 yuan

According to Blue Whale Internet Finance on July 29, today, Jin Xiaojing (WeChat: lanjinghj) learned that Sunshine Insurance launched a blockchain aviation accident insurance card, which is the first time in China that mainstream financial assets are circulated on the blockchain. It is understood that the insurance product is technically supported by Bubi Blockchain and is jointly developed with the win-win Shubei wallet of Bilin.

Blockchain industry insiders believe that the launch of this product is an innovation for both the blockchain industry and the insurance industry.

For ordinary consumers, what is the difference between a blockchain aviation accident insurance card and an ordinary aviation accident insurance card?

The first thing is to prevent purchasing fake insurance policies.

Aviation accident insurance has always been a "hard-hit area" for insurance fraud. Because aviation accident insurance only pays claims when an aircraft accident occurs, it is not easy for customers to find out that they have bought fake insurance in most cases.

With the help of the multi-party data sharing feature of blockchain technology, the entire process of card order flow from the source to the customer can be traced. The participants can not only verify the authenticity of the card order, ensure the authenticity and uniqueness of the card order, but also facilitate subsequent processes, such as claims.

Another advantage of blockchain insurance is cost savings.

Previously, aviation accident insurance was mostly sold through airlines and other channel dealers. The original cost of aviation accident insurance cards was only a few yuan, but after the channel dealers "marked up" it, it cost tens of yuan to reach consumers. However, Sunshine Insurance's aviation accident insurance cards were put on the Bubi blockchain, and there was no "price difference" from the middlemen, so the card prices would drop.

It is understood that this product can be purchased for 60 yuan per copy and can be used by 20 people, each time providing up to 2 million yuan of aviation accident insurance, which is equivalent to spending 3 yuan each time to obtain 2 million yuan of insurance.

Sunshine Insurance has been at the forefront of blockchain applications. As early as March this year, Sunshine Insurance launched the "Sunshine Bei" points on March 8, 2016, using the latest blockchain technology as the underlying technical architecture. On the basis of enjoying the ordinary points function, users can also transfer points to friends in the form of "sending red envelopes" and exchange them with blockchain points issued by other companies.
