ONC has been pursuing this line of inquiry for the past few years, and the report released last October was also aimed at achieving this goal. HHS, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security are all large agencies in the United States that are researching blockchain technology. ONC will host a seminar on blockchain at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on September 26 and 27. |
