Blockchain Hyperledger Project adds 17 new members

Rage Comment : Recently, the Linux-led Hyperledger project has frequently appeared in media news, including participating in calls for attention to blockchain management issues, releasing new blockchain application development dynamics, and restructuring the internal technical committee. Moreover, since the project was launched at the end of last year, it has continuously absorbed new members, and the team has never stopped growing. On the second to last day of this month, the project announced that it had absorbed 17 member units, including Samsung subsidiaries, Sany Heavy Industry, and Intuit, a high-tech company in Silicon Valley, USA. One of the 17 new members joining the Hyperledger project is a subsidiary of global electronics giant Samsung.

On the second to last day of this month, the Linux Foundation-led Hyperledger project announced that several new companies and institutions had joined the camp, including Samsung's IT service subsidiary Samsung SDS, Intuit, a Silicon Valley high-tech company that developed the PC-based small business financial software Quickbooks, and Chinese heavy machinery manufacturer Sany Heavy Industry (Sany).

The announcement of the Hyperledger project shows that Samsung is gradually beginning to pay attention to the dynamics of blockchain technology, and large institutions are increasingly viewing Hyperledger as a gateway to the future.

Since the project was launched in December last year, nearly 100 companies and start-ups have participated.

Brian Behlendorf, executive director of the project, described the accumulation of members of the project:

“The project is growing at a rate of almost two new members per week, and we don’t know what it will be like by the end of the year. I look forward to working with this growing community to advance the development of open blockchain.”

Meanwhile, there has been a steady increase in news about the Hyperledger project recently, including news that French aircraft manufacturer Airbus joined earlier this month, as well as news of the first open source projects the community is working on.
