In a decentralized world, no one will be king

There are many different styles of activism in the world. Many people are aware of the corruption in the world and want to change it. There is a major movement to bring more autonomy. Of course, the scale of this movement is relatively small because those who do not want a free society are still the majority. But the world will slowly move towards a decentralized model.

Decentralization Movement

Slowly, we are moving toward a frictionless, more autonomous world. This change will not happen overnight. In fact, we may not see it in our lifetime, but it is inevitable. The past is like a game of chess. Eventually, we will reach the checkmate, and the king will no longer exist.

For example, the liberal movement is growing in size, whether it is small government or anarchism, similar ideas are spreading. Some people even think that violent revolution is inevitable. However, most liberals do not want this to happen. For myself, I am more in favor of "evolution". In the past, we thought slavery was immoral; now, we will eventually realize that slavery with appropriate freedom is also a mistake.

Things in the world are bound to evolve. This trend will not stop, simulation technology is one example, people try to be good innovators or further develop innovation. The development of technology is unlimited, and at the same time, anarchism led by cryptography is leading us to a new stage of freedom. Programming software can encrypt our conversations, and people's conversations will go from snooping government information to Bitcoin, so as to achieve the decentralization of our currency.

Codify the known and the unknown

These concepts didn’t exist for no reason. Activists both famous and unknown created the BitTorrent protocol to decentralize the music industry; Satoshi Nakamoto’s white paper revolutionized traditional finance. Innovations like these exist because other systems have stagnated.

The music industry is highly dependent on artists. And the bosses who created millions of artists are in dire straits. We know who created BitTorrent, and some developers don't even mind being exposed to the public eye. Artists have a direct source of income because of BitTorrent, and they directly take most of the royalties and social recognition. Although it seems that plagiarism is no longer a headache for artists, if you really understand the details, record companies are actually the biggest victims. Because only musicians have learned to evolve.

Removing middlemen such as currency makers

In the world of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto is still an "unsolved mystery", and many other code contributors are also anonymous. If you create a digital currency that removes middlemen such as currency makers, then you definitely want to remain anonymous. You can refer to the creator of Liberty Dollar (private currency, the purpose is to prevent inflation).

Satoshi Nakamoto also created a decentralized, global currency issuance model. No company or board of directors wrote the code. He used only some specially designed software to disrupt traditional trade and exchanges. Many people have contributed to the important economic model of this software. This may be difficult to understand at the time because this model is not as simple as the fiat currency system backed by gold.

The value of Bitcoin comes from the trust of investors. This definition is very specific to each person, but at least most people want to reshape the existing monetary system. This group of people advocates nation-states ^[1] , believes in pure anarchism, believes that the current financial system is already stagnant, and hopes that the monetary system will be more transparent and freer. Although these people have different opinions, they will eventually achieve their goals through evolutionary tools such as Bitcoin.

A new world is coming

The Internet is the killer app of our time. It is a true innovation that brings knowledge, software that cuts out middlemen, and new conversations to everyone in the world. Sharing a development blueprint or exposing a case of overseas corruption can happen in minutes. Cross-border transactions are no longer a problem. With Bitcoin, capital controls are no longer effective, and anyone can transfer money at any time. Today, we live in an era where all of this is possible with the computer in our pocket (smartphone). These ideas are unstoppable.

The decentralized, autonomous world is coming. Those who contribute to it know that only our next generation will truly experience it. Evolution and competition are happening before our eyes, and only perseverance can see the dawn of victory. Our world is a brave, new world, and if you remain optimistic, the future reform will happen in the form of digitalization.
