What is WINGS? Why can it lead you into the DAO era?

Preface

Thanks to the emergence and rapid development of blockchain technology, we are fortunate to witness a new way of human collaboration, namely software-based decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

With The DAO project (which raised over $132 million) capturing the public imagination, it’s amazing to see how this new type of organization can change the way businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations collaborate. The DAO allows people around the world to raise funds for, influence, and shape projects or ideas that interest them.

However, there is more to The DAO than meets the eye. We can see that there were many early concerns due to a lack of expertise in cutting-edge blockchain technology, smart contracts, crypto tokens, and other technologies required to run The DAO. Further, some concerns stem from the unique legal and regulatory mechanisms involved in creating The DAO. We believe that by abstracting away the complexity of these technologies and providing adequate legal and regulatory tools, we will provide the necessary support for The DAO to gain mainstream acceptance.

What are Wings?

It’s no exaggeration to say that last week was a busy one for us when we officially announced Wings to the world. We’ve been contacted by many parties, including crypto community members, media, investors, and some promising startups, who are all very interested in what Wings is all about.

In short, Wings is a decentralized platform that allows you to create, manage, and participate in DAOs.

In summary, Wings can provide the following services to the community:

How do we plan to build this platform?

We firmly believe that the operation of DAO must be as simple as possible so that DAO can be widely used and accepted by users. Therefore, we will focus on the following aspects:

1. By removing the complex smart contract coding knowledge required to create and manage a DAO from project leaders, it allows them to focus on their core business

2. Provide access to legal and regulatory resources to ensure that DAOs comply with legal regulations

3. Improve public engagement through today’s widely used communication methods, such as instant messaging and chatbots

4. Provide DAO members with smart tools for voting and decision-making, so as to shorten decision-making time and enable members to devote more efforts to developing decision-making reputation

5. Introducing automated assistants to make participating in and managing DAOs as effortless as possible
