Startup Manifold launches blockchain platform at Wall Street Blockchain Conference

Rage Review : Blockchain startup Manifold is one of the few companies that have joined Microsoft Azure Blockchain as a Service platform. Its founders are all security technology experts at the White House. Although its blockchain platform was only recently announced at the Blockchain Conference on Wall Street, the Royal Bank of Canada and the R3CEV Blockchain Alliance have already applied it to internal processes. The transaction processing speed of the platform has exceeded that of the largest credit card companies, providing companies that deploy the platform with absolute control, which is a further improvement of blockchain technology.

Blockchain startup Manifold Technology announced its patented blockchain platform at the Blockchain for Wall Street conference in New York, USA. The platform is a high-performance distributed ledger technology that provides developers with a safe and convenient application development environment with minimal requirements for blockchain technology expertise.

The platform has already been used to align a rewards program for the Royal Bank of Canada, and by members of the R3CEV consortium to demonstrate live trading of fixed-income assets.

Manifold says its blockchain platform can process 10,000 transactions per second, while even the largest credit card companies can only handle 2,000 to 8,000 transactions per second.

Manifold is on the list of users of Microsoft’s Azure blockchain-as-a-service platform (BaaS), focusing on pain points such as reward programs and solving common reconciliation issues that affect companies’ accounting.

The company that deploys the platform has absolute control and operational authority over it, and it has the transparency of blockchain audit records and will not be interfered with by outsiders. In 2014, Chris Finan, a former White House cybersecurity adviser, and Rob Seger, a former government security technology expert, founded Manifold.

Chris Finan, CEO of Manifold, said:

“Co-founder Rob Seger and I became interested in blockchain after being exposed to Bitcoin for several years. However, we knew that public blockchains did not provide the speed and security that financial services companies required. We are proud of this platform because it allows developers to adopt blockchain technology faster than it was even two years ago.”
