The currency is rising so fast, let's be clear-headed

The currency has risen so fiercely and so seriously, reflecting the scars of currency investors who missed the opportunity. In the dead of night, the market comes again, secretly controlling the hearts of currency investors, reminding me to be on standby at any time when trading currency. The rise and fall are quiet and full of enthusiasm, devouring the hearts of currency investors step by step. I lost myself in trading currency. I traded so seriously, but I still saw profits. It is impossible that the money printing that has not stopped for more than ten years suddenly went crazy. The moment you said to abolish banknotes, the currency has risen so fiercely and so seriously, reflecting the scars of currency investors who missed the opportunity. I don’t care how scarred I am, but how much money do I have to compensate?

————《Serious Rise》

2016 passed by in a flash, and 2017 came quietly. Bitcoin inadvertently climbed over one threshold after another, either slowly or extremely quickly, and made rapid progress, eventually sweeping across the world and sweeping the world, surprising most people.

In fact, the price is not the main point of surprise. Many people in the currency circle firmly believe that Bitcoin will appreciate, but they still did not expect that Bitcoin would return to 7,000 so quickly.

Looking at the timeline of Bitcoin, you can find that throughout the history of Bitcoin, the ups and downs are always surprisingly similar, and the years are inadvertently completing a perfect cycle.
There is no doubt that Bitcoin’s current performance is perfect, enough to make the “$80,000 Party” (a group that believes Bitcoin can rise to $100,000) cheer.

Even so, as we step into the new year, I still want to write something. From the perspective of my love for Bitcoin, I want to criticize the blind optimism in and outside the currency circle.

I am not afraid of being thought of as a sour outsider. I still have to take the blame. It is not without harm to occasionally carry the banner of the opposition.

Everyone, pay attention.

1. What exactly do you want to buy?

The current market is booming, which reminds me of a famous saying in the cryptocurrency circle at the end of 2013: "It's my own money, I can spend it however I want, don't stop me from buying cryptocurrencies."

This sentence is not only deafening, it is simply astonishing.

But I don’t know whether the person who shouted this back then successfully escaped the top, or unfortunately failed to do so at 8,000?

Based on the observation and analysis from the perspective of probability theory, the latter is more likely. Although it is possible to get back the investment now, when can the lost "time cost" be made up?

I don’t know if you have ever learned the concept of “internal rate of return”, which is a term in accounting. The discount rate of the principal is calculated using the internal rate of return. The time cost of more than three years is simply astonishing.

When the market is crazy, people lose their rationality. Think about the stock market crash in 2015. How many people saw the market pass 5,000 points and looked forward to reaching 10,000 points in two months? In the end, many people who didn't run fast enough were stuck, and it would take seven or eight years to get out of it.

Some money can be made, but some money cannot be made. Moreover, many people buy Bitcoin not because they really love Bitcoin, but because of greed.

Perhaps after seeing this, some coin friends will jump out and strongly refute the words of the foreigner: saying that he bought Bitcoin just because he wanted to buy Bitcoin.

In fact, it is wrong. Those who say these things are truly insincere. Bitcoin is ultimately a currency, and "buying" is not its ultimate destination at all.

It must be emphasized here that the thing you want to buy most is never Bitcoin, but the first thing you buy after selling Bitcoin.

It is very important for everyone to think carefully before buying Bitcoin.

Even today, Yike still insists that the best attitude towards Bitcoin is: once you buy Bitcoin, just treat it as money.

Otherwise, the market is small, there are many experts, and sharp rises and falls will happen from time to time. People with weak hearts should prepare quick-acting heart pills.

When thinking about wealth and time, it is best not to stop, the deeper the better. Bitcoin has a bright future, but can you wait for it? If you can wait, then you can exchange it with passion; if you can't wait, it is best to "pick the flowers when they are ready, and don't wait until there are no flowers to pick branches". Spending the RMB and enjoying life in time is the best choice. Otherwise, to make an inappropriate analogy, you have saved enough money to make a "big sword" every day for a lifetime, but you find that you can't get it hard at the age of 70... Isn't this the saddest topic?

2. Holding Bitcoin does not make you superior

I have to say that the atmosphere in the cryptocurrency circle is quite noble.

There is a sense of complacency like "I hold Bitcoin, I am a high-end person", as if those who speculate in stocks and buy gold are idiots; those who buy houses and cars are idiots; the whole world is turbid but I am the only one who is clear, everyone is drunk but I am sober; everything is inferior, only buying coins is high.

There are even people who would like to carve the word "awesome" on their foreheads to prove that they have coins and that hoarding coins is a wise move that is "the best among everyone else." If "smartness" could be made into a hat, these people would definitely wear it 24 hours a day and not even take it off when sleeping.

Zheng Banqiao wrote a very good poem describing bamboo: It has joints before it emerges from the ground, and it remains humble even when it reaches the sky.

Why can't this person remain humble and cautious and avoid arrogance and impetuosity as soon as he has some money?

Some people are proud of owning so many bitcoins, which seems ridiculous. What is the difference between this and telling everyone that you have millions of RMB? There is a line in "The Hidden" that best explains this behavior: There are two gold bars in front of you, tell me which one is noble and which one is dirty?

In fact, isn't it just owning some Bitcoins? What's so great about it? Even if they can appreciate and these coins will be worth more in the future, what is there to brag about? Those who hold billions of assets, those who can be remembered for a lifetime with a song or a painting, and those who can support an entire research institute with a scientific achievement, these people are not as arrogant and arrogant as some people in the cryptocurrency circle.

There is also another phenomenon: the more powerful and wealthy people in the cryptocurrency circle are, the more they keep silent and "squinting". They are definitely quietly following the old saying: Make a fortune in silence. Those who really make money don't care what others think. They are determined and move forward courageously, and their minds are as strong as steel. They believe in their own abilities and believe in "I was born with talent and it will be useful. I will get it back even if I lose all my money." They even sell all their bitcoins to start businesses, but they can make more bitcoins by reselling them and become local tyrants.

On the contrary, those who are only half-full have to talk about "how many coins they have" from time to time in order to gain the respect and admiration of others. There is no way, this approach is so realistic, because they believe in the truth that "if you have money, there will be people who admire you", and it often works in the early stages, but as time goes by, more and more people recognize their true colors, and they will expose their skin and expose scandals from time to time, making them more and more embarrassed.

It is not impossible for people to be noble in the world. Guan Yu hung up his seal and passed through five passes and killed six generals, and Wu Song killed a tiger with his bare hands. These stories have been compiled into storytelling for more than a thousand years. There must be real ability to support nobleness. Ordinary people have a fortune of millions, thousands of acres of fertile land, and countless gold and silver treasures. Even if they are famous for a while, it really means nothing.
Bitcoin is a new thing, but it still cannot defeat this old truth.

3. What can you contribute to Bitcoin?

The cryptocurrency circle has formed a large-scale industrial chain ecosystem, which is neither big nor small.

Most people who are willing to stay in the cryptocurrency circle still have a "high-spirited and hardworking" heart, hoping that Bitcoin will get better and better. Since there is such an idea, it comes back to a very practical question: As a member of the cryptocurrency circle, what contribution can you make to Bitcoin?

Perhaps someone will argue at this point: As long as Bitcoin goes up, it’s fine. What does it have to do with me?

This is wrong. As the saying goes, every man has his share of responsibility for the fate of his country, and the same applies to the cryptocurrency industry. A promising cryptocurrency industry should be a vibrant and upbeat group that can achieve win-win results.

If an industry is full of those profit-seeking, unscrupulous liars, then this industry will definitely not go far; if a country is full of flattering and indifferent citizens, then this country will definitely not stand tall among the nations. On the contrary, if an industry is full of diligent, hardworking and pragmatic pioneers, then even if this industry encounters setbacks and lows, it will one day soar to the sky; if a country has citizens who dare to challenge authority and are brave enough to innovate, even if this country experiences wars and twists and turns, when it holds its head high, it will be admired by the world.

So don’t just think about how much benefit the rise of Bitcoin can bring to you. Think about what you can do for Bitcoin. This is the real issue.

Of course, I am not trying to trick you into buying more coins. If the rich can put up their money, there will naturally be wealthy people buying coins. You are not the only one needed. If the rich can support the market, those who have devoted themselves to the cryptocurrency industry will naturally show their abilities and make the most of their own advantages, honing their professional skills. This is a blessing for both themselves and the industry.

Not counting people working in the cryptocurrency industry, but just being a Bitcoin holder, if you can calmly explain questions about Bitcoin raised by beginners, without exaggeration or concealment, and evaluate Bitcoin sincerely and seriously, that would definitely be great.

At worst, if you feel that you cannot explain the principle of Bitcoin clearly, you can ask someone with relevant knowledge to do some popular science, or just keep silent. Instead of blindly following others and slandering Bitcoin. If you encounter scammers in the cryptocurrency circle, you must resolutely resist them and try to expose their despicable faces to reduce the harm to others.

Lao Luo once said something that sounds pretty good: Every life that comes into the world is destined to change the world. This is your destiny, and you have no choice. You can either make the world a better place or a worse place.

Similarly, if we can achieve the above-mentioned aspects, even if we have not made a huge contribution to the cryptocurrency industry, we can still do our best to make the entire industry "a little bit better". We must not underestimate this little bit, because many people have not achieved this little bit of accumulation. In the past, many people always wanted to take advantage without paying, which led to the tragic situation of cutting leeks from each other and deteriorating the ecological chain.

We have reason to look forward to a better tomorrow, but we should also be more cautious and serious about the present.

“Good medicine tastes bitter but is beneficial to the disease; honest advice is unpleasant to the ears but is beneficial to conduct.” Although these words are unpleasant to hear, they are from the heart after all, and someone has to say them. I wrote them down in a hurry despite the pressure of being scolded as a pig by people. I hope that all readers will listen to them and think carefully after reading them.
