Bitcoin mining machine Avalon A8 officially released

On December 19 , the ABCD+ cutting-edge technology experience day was held at Dikai Ginza, and the "Canaan Creative" team officially released the world's most advanced blockchain computer A8 .

At the press conference, Zhang Nangeng, Chairman and General Manager of Canaan Creative, the world's first mining chip developer, and the "Father of Mining Machines", gave a detailed introduction to A8 and Canaan Creative's blockchain chips and product line layout. This time, A8 has been upgraded to TSMC's second- generation 16nm technology, and a large number of fully customized circuits that the team spent a year optimizing have been used . While the product performance-to-power ratio has been improved, the computing power density has also been greatly improved. At the same time, the system level of the whole machine has also been meticulously designed, including a 75% increase in power module performance , an increase in overclocking capabilities, improved overheating protection functions, and an increase in the number of PCIE6P connectors. While improving performance, we also hope to protect the investment security of every user.

The "Canaan Creative" team has always maintained a fast product iteration speed: monthly firmware updates, quarterly launches of minor model changes, and product replacement has been shortened from the previous 12-14 months to 9 months.

The parameters of the A8 series products were announced:

A821: 11T computing power, 1200W power consumption;

A841: 13T computing power, 1200W power consumption;

During the major upgrade process, Canaan Creative also revealed the subsequent A8 series product A861 , which is still a model with integrated power supply and will have higher overall computing power and better performance-power ratio.
