Appearance and workmanship
The G2 has a metallic silver appearance and the whole device looks very classy.

The front of G2 is the air inlet with a QC logo. There are three fans to dissipate heat for the graphics card, and another small fan to dissipate heat for the mining machine motherboard. There is also a power interface.

The back of the G2 has air outlets and three fans, as well as multiple connection ports, including an Ethernet cable port, an HDMI cable port, and two USB ports, as well as a power switch and a reset switch.

Installation and commissioning
1. Wiring Antminer G2 does not require any other power supply and can be powered directly with the configured power cord. The test environment for this test is an office with a room temperature of 25 degrees.
First, connect the power supply to the mining machine, then connect the network cable to the network cable interface, connect the two USB ports to the mouse and keyboard respectively, and connect the HDMI interface to the monitor with an HDMI cable.
2. System Setup After connecting the wires, turn on the switch on the front of the miner, press the power button for two seconds, and the display will light up after two minutes. After entering the system, you will be reminded to enter the password, and the login password is "a". At this time, the system has started mining according to the default miner, and the mining log of the miner will automatically pop up on the home page.

In the mining log, you can see the computing power of each graphics card and the total computing power of the mining machine.

Find the claymore9.7 folder on the desktop, double-click it with the left mouse button to open it, and at the bottom of this folder, find the file named start.bash and double-click it to open it. Modify the mining service address, payment address, and miner name here. (Note that the space between the command and the content to be modified cannot be deleted, otherwise the miner will not work properly), then save it, and restart the miner after saving. If you do not restart the miner, you cannot update the settings.
After restarting, the miner will automatically start mining using the modified mining pool and wallet address. You can use the following link to view real-time computing power, income, payment records, etc.

Noise test

The official rated computing power of G2 is 220M. During the 12 hours of actual testing, the computing power of G2 was maintained at around 230M per hour during stable operation, which is higher than the nominal computing power. The power consumption in the actual test was 1222W, and the rated power consumption was 1200W, which is also higher than the rated power consumption.
