Beijing will use blockchain and other technologies to create a new credit supervision pattern

China News Service, Beijing, March 11 (China News Service) Beijing will select pilot projects for innovative applications of credit big data, and use advanced technologies and resources such as big data and blockchain to build a new market supervision mechanism and innovative social governance with credit as the core, including building a new model for the integration and sharing of credit big data in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and developing a credit evaluation index system for citizens, enterprises and other entities, thereby forming a pattern of joint incentives for compliance and joint punishment for non-compliance.

On the 11th, the reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Economic and Information Commission that before the end of this month, Beijing will select a number of credit big data development pilot demonstration projects focusing on three aspects: credit big data resource integration and sharing and innovation results transformation, in-depth application of credit big data in key areas, and credit big data innovation and cluster development.

Among them, in terms of credit big data resource integration and sharing and transformation of innovative results, Beijing will support the construction of an innovative credit big data industry service platform based on big data, blockchain and other technologies, and improve relevant management systems and standards and specifications; promote the connection of the credit systems of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and build a new model for the integration and sharing of credit big data.

In terms of the in-depth application of credit big data in key areas, Beijing encourages the construction of a new industry supervision mechanism with credit as the core for key industries and fields such as environmental protection and Internet finance; supports third-party social institutions to use big data resources and technologies to develop a credit evaluation index system for citizens, enterprises, industry associations, chambers of commerce, social organizations and other entities, and improve the integrity and self-discipline awareness of social entities. In addition, it encourages the use of big data to establish an innovative credit system for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as credit asset pricing methods and transaction channels, and develop credit big data financial products to solve the problem of difficulty and high cost of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises.

In terms of the innovative cluster development of credit big data, Beijing will encourage cooperation between enterprises and qualified regions, give priority to the use of vacated industrial space resources, build credit big data innovation application bases or industrial parks, incubate credit big data and blockchain innovative application projects, promote integrated joint research and development and transformation of results, and promote the construction of a credit big data investment ecosystem with the participation of government-guided funds, industrial capital, financial institutions, etc.

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Economic and Information Technology stated that it will first conduct a pilot project, summarize and promote replicable experiences and practices, promote the formation of a number of new models for the integration of credit big data resources, cultivate a number of credit big data service institutions, and establish a set of relevant management systems and standards and specifications to play a supporting role in the construction of Beijing's science and technology innovation center, the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the optimization of the business environment, and serving the people's livelihood.
