NVIDIA launches a reduced-spec version of the "GTX 1080 Ti" for mining

Although NVIDIA had an unfriendly attitude towards mining before, it still made some product adjustments in secret for this huge market. Since game cards such as GeForce are not allowed to be used for mining, NVIDIA prepared professional mining cards for miners, which are flagship products.

According to cryptomining blog, NVIDIA's mining card based on the GP102-100 core was exposed. The design in the picture comes from Inno3D. This graphics card adopts a dual-fan direct-blowing design, 5 heat pipes, no display interface, and a very simple appearance.

In terms of specifications, the graphics card has a base frequency of 1582MHz, 5GB GDDR5X video memory, 320-bit bit width, one PCIe x4 slot, and 250-watt power consumption, which is equivalent to a reduced-configuration version of the GTX 1080 Ti.

In terms of performance, Ethereum’s hashrate is 47MH/s, which is even more powerful than the overclocked TITAN Xp (42MH/s). In addition, ZCash (Zerocoin) is 660sol/s, and Monero (XMR) is 879H/s.
