How is the Halong Bitcoin Mining Machine?

MyRig, an online mining equipment retailer, tweeted a circular semiconductor wafer used to make integrated circuits. The company said the 10nm product was made by electronics giant Samsung.

Halong Mining Company said that the DragonMint T1 mining machine has undergone 12 months of research and development efforts. The DM8575 ASIC chip has a rate of 85G/S per chip and a power consumption of approximately 0.075W/G.

The DragonMint T1 Bitcoin miner has been under development since December 2016, with more than 100 experts from around the world working on the project, including chip designers, electronic hardware experts, and software designers, committed to promoting a more decentralized Bitcoin mining model.

The company says it has spent about $30 million on R&D and production of a small batch of chips. The time, complexity and cost should not be underestimated. Large-scale production will need to start from scratch and will take about 4 months, including manufacturing the chips, with shipments expected to begin in March 2018.

DragonMint T1 Bitcoin Miner:

The computing power of a single machine is 16TH/S, the chip integrates AsicBoost optimization technology, the power consumption is about 1480W, the power consumption ratio is 0.0925W/G, and the warranty period is half a year.
