Bytom BTM V1.0 is officially released

Since its launch, the Bytom project has attracted much attention from the industry. After 10 months of development and testing, the Bytom team hereby announces that Bytom Mainnet 1.0.0 “Smart” will be officially launched at 14:00 Beijing time on April 24. The team would like to express our sincere gratitude to all system developers, community members, participants, supporters, etc.

The launch of the mainnet is of symbolic significance to the development of Bytom. It means that the vision of connecting the world of bits and atoms has taken a solid step forward. It means that diversified assets can be registered on the chain and efficient and flexible circulation becomes possible. It means that community developers and users can truly participate in the construction of the Bytom ecosystem.

Bytom will lead the community supporters to work hard together to realize the vision of allowing everyone to benefit fairly from decentralized collaboration.

Genesis Block

The genesis block will be generated by the Bytom team, and the genesis block will generate BTM equal to the previously circulated ERC20 tokens. Information is power. January 11, 2013. AI-friendly consensus algorithm

The Bytom team innovatively proposed a consensus algorithm based on tensor calculations, Tensority, which absorbs the advantages of other consensus algorithms and improves them, especially adding matrix operations, which are the basic components of artificial intelligence deep learning, to make workload calculations more universal and ASIC-friendly. At the same time, dedicated consensus devices can be used for artificial intelligence cloud acceleration services, reducing hardware waste and making calculations more socially valuable. After the mainnet is launched, mining rewards will be enabled. According to the Bytom Economic White Paper, 33% of the total BTM will be mined through mining, which is about 693 million.

Testnet

After the mainnet is launched, the testnet will continue to run synchronously without affecting each other. All new features will be tested on the testnet first, and then updated to the mainnet after verification.

Mainnet BTM exchange plan

Bytom’s block explorer is in the final development and testing phase and is expected to be launched in May.
