From the front of the mining machine, you can see a series of buttons of the mining machine, including the IP address feedback button, network cable interface, reset button and status indicator light.

Installation and Debugging

The power supply used in this test is Antminer APW3++, which can be purchased on the Bitmain official website. The mining pool uses Antminer. Noise and heat

The mining was conducted in PPS mode of Ant Pool. The test location was a conference room with an area of ​​about 30 square meters and a room temperature of 25 degrees. The heating and noise tests were carried out after the mining machine ran for 24 hours.

The noise level of the mining machine was measured at 74dB at 10cm from the air inlet, 82dB at 10cm from the air outlet, and 71dB at 1m away.

After running for 24 hours, you can see in the background of the mining machine that the temperature of the B3 hashboard is about 30 degrees and the temperature of the chip is about 36 degrees. It can be found that the temperature of the B3 hashboard and chip is lower than that of other mining machines.

The official hashrate of the Antminer B3 is 780H. During the actual test, the actual hashrate averaged about 790H/s, 1.3% higher than the nominal value. The official power consumption of the Antminer B3 is 360W. The power consumption in the actual test was 320W, 11% lower than the official nominal value. According to the actual tested hashrate and power consumption, the power consumption per H of hashrate is 0.4W/H. The hashrate curve in the mining pool backend also looks relatively stable. B3 24-hour operating income

On the day of the evaluation (May 8, 2018), the price of Bytom was 5.18 yuan. According to the PPS mining profit model of Ant Pool, the profit of a B3 in 24 hours a day is 166 Bytoms, which is equivalent to 860 yuan. Calculated at 0.5 yuan per kWh, the electricity cost of B3 is about 4 yuan a day, and the daily profit is about 856 yuan.
