Bitmain Antminer B3 Firmware Upgrade

In order to better serve Ant users, the official website has updated the B3 firmware. The specific instructions are as follows.

1. Download the firmware

Two firmwares in total

Antminer-B3-20180519.tar.gz, this firmware can fix the abnormal display of wind speed.

update_1000.tar.gz, this firmware can optimize the computing power of the machine.

It is recommended to upgrade both firmwares. You can choose to upgrade Antminer-B3-20180519.tar.gz first, and then upgrade update_1000.tar.gz.

Special attention:

a. update_1000.tar.gz. During this firmware upgrade, the power cannot be turned off and other operations cannot be performed. Otherwise, the upgrade will fail and the use of the machine will be affected.

b. The upgrade time is 5-10 minutes. If the upgrade fails within 10 minutes, you need to upgrade again.

c. If the upgrade fails or the chip displays ? ?, it means the machine itself is faulty and needs to be repaired.

2. Find the machine IP address

3. Log in to the mining machine backend

Enter the mining machine IP address in the address bar of Google or Firefox browser, username/password: root/root

4. Upgrade firmware

Click the Upgrade option to enter the upgrade interface.

Remove the check mark in the small box behind Keep settings (to upgrade the firmware without keeping the configuration).

Select the firmware to be upgraded and click Flash image, as shown below.

5. After the upgrade is successful, the interface will be displayed as shown below
