Estonian state-owned wind farm begins mining

According to bitcoin.com on June 4, a state-owned wind farm in Estonia announced last Friday that it would start cryptocurrency mining. Local officials said that the electricity required for mining activities will use the Baltic Sea wind energy to provide the farm with unlimited energy supply.

It is reported that the mining machines needed for this mining are provided by Eesti Elekter, a local private enterprise in Estonia. Oleg Sonajalg, a member of the board of directors of the enterprise, said that the farm's support for mining would be a win-win cooperation and would enhance the country's international competitiveness.
