Exchanges temporarily suspend EOS mainnet activation; nearly one million EOS stolen

According to IMEOS, a large number of EOS private keys were stolen by hackers during the launch of the EOS mainnet. There are already more than 60 victims in the English and Korean regions, and the number of victims in the Chinese region has not yet been counted. The total number of EOS involved exceeds one million, and so far three accounts have been recovered and one has been claimed.

Currently, initiated by EOS42, EOSCannon (Canon Community), EOS New York, EOSNation, BlockSmith, EOSAmsterdam, EOSNation, EOSRio, and EOSDAC nodes are supporting the handling of this matter.
