Tencent Yujian Threat Intelligence Center discovered that a web mining code was implanted into the "College Entrance Examination Admission Query System" page of the HND Center of a key university in a certain province. When accessing the page, the browser will automatically execute the mining program to mine Monero, causing the computer CPU to occupy 100%, seriously affecting computer use.

Recently, Tencent Yujian Threat Intelligence Center detected that the official websites of many key universities (including 985 and 211 universities) in Hubei, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Henan and other provinces were implanted with mining Trojans. This month, it was also discovered that the webpage of the Low Carbon and Energy Saving Technology Research Institute of a 211 university in Southwest China was implanted with mining code. Tencent Computer Manager issued a defense prompt and contacted the relevant personnel of the website.
