HiPool was hacked: Lost millions and will be closed permanently

Yesterday, HiPool issued a statement saying that its server located in Alibaba Cloud experienced an organized hacker attack on the afternoon of June 22. The mining pool wallet was stolen and internal files were deleted. All information including wallets, wallet passwords, databases, etc. were lost and could not be recovered, causing losses of up to millions of yuan to many miners.

The announcement also stated that starting today, HiPool will be permanently closed, and all compensation will be given to miners after the mining pool handling fees are unlocked. It is reported that HiPool has mined 651,977 FABs, of which 102,364 FABs have been transferred out.
