Charlie Lee: Bitmain's huge profits mean miners' income is shrinking

Litecoin founder Charlie Lee tweeted that Bitmain's net profit in Q1 2018 reached $1.1 billion. The total value of all Bitcoin in Q1 was $1.3 billion. The mining rewards go either to the miners or to the mining machine manufacturers, so if Bitmain makes so much money, there will be little left for the miners. |
