The report shows that Win32 mining viruses account for 82.24% of mining Trojans

Recently, Tencent Security Anti-Virus Lab released the "2018 Q2 Internet Security Report". The report shows that in the second quarter of 2018, there were thousands of variants of various mining Trojan viruses, and dozens of different digital currencies were mined.

The analysis found that mining Trojan viruses can be spread in a variety of file formats, among which Win32 mining viruses ranked first, accounting for 82.24% of all types. The second and third places were script viruses that mine with web programs. From the statistical analysis of the magnitude of mining Trojan viruses, 78.08% of mining Trojan virus samples are used to mine Bitcoin.
