The mining pool computing power is displayed on the query page of your mining pool, which is divided into total computing power and single mining machine computing power. Generally, the mining pool computing power is displayed as an average value, which is divided into 15-hour average computing power and 24-hour average computing power. At the same time, the mining pool also distributes income and settles wages to you according to this computing power, so this is the most important thing. The local computing power will not directly affect your income. In theory, the higher the local computing power, the higher the mining pool computing power, and the higher the income. However, there are many other factors in between, which we will analyze below. The relationship between local computing power and mining pool computing power
In fact, the relationship between miners and mining pools is equivalent to the relationship between employees and bosses. If you are paid directly based on your local computing power, it is equivalent to paying you per head because your 1M computing power may not be able to do the work of 1M computing power. This is obviously unfair to young, strong and good people, and it is not cost-effective for the boss of the mining pool. Therefore, mining pools are like many companies. They quantify the work and use the calculation formula to determine how many calculation results should be submitted to the mining pool within 24 hours with 1M local computing power. For example, if there are 10,000 people in a factory who can produce 1,000,000 products a day, then the average number of products each person can produce is 100. Only those who produce 100 products will be counted as one person. The more you work, the more you will be counted, and the less you work, the less you will be counted. You will not be counted as one person's salary just because you work one day. In terms of computing power, for example, 1M local computing power should calculate 10 results in 24 hours and submit them to the mining pool. The mining pool will convert it into 1M of mining pool computing power for you only after receiving 10 results. If it receives 9, then you only have 0.9M computing power in the mining pool. If it receives 11, the mining pool will show 1.1M computing power. In short, the mining pool only looks at your final workload, not how much computing power you have. This is the difference between local computing power and mining pool computing power. Local computing power can only prove that you may do so much work, not the amount of work you have actually done, while mining pool computing power is proof of how much work you have actually done. Possible reasons affecting mining pool computing power 1. Overclocking Factors So how do you check for overclocking? If you look at the software log, there will be a prompt, and sometimes the computing power of the software will become 0 for a few seconds. The difference of 0.002 seconds may generate thousands of 0.002 seconds in a 24-hour period for an ordinary 6-card mining machine, which will cause a difference of about 1% or more in our computing power. The normal delay should be around 60ms.
