F2Pool Announcement on the Arrangement of SC Hard Fork

Siacoin will undergo a hard fork at block height 179,000 ( around 24:00 on October 31 ). After the fork, two chains will appear: Siacoin and SiaClassic . F2Pool will support their mining at the same time :

【Siacoin】 (New Chain): Only suitable for Obelisk, GPU mining
【SiaClassic】 (old chain): suitable for mining A3, S11, U2, B52, Obelisk, etc.

After the Siacoin hard fork upgrade is completed, miners should perform the following operations according to their own situation to ensure their own profits:

1) Since most of the existing mining machines do not support forks, after the Siacoin hard fork , F2Pool will automatically use all of its existing computing power to mine SiaClassic, and miners do not need to do anything.

2) After switching to mining SiaClassic:

Users who use full-node wallets to mine SiaClassic must remember to use the 1.3.4 version of the wallet and use the node officially provided by Siaclassic (such as: 104.248.99.135:9981 ) to synchronize SiaClassic data. F2Pool is not responsible for any loss or non-receipt of income due to incorrect wallet versions.
If you use an exchange wallet , please confirm with the exchange whether it accepts Siaclassic recharges. If not , please use Siacion's 1.3.4 full-node wallet to obtain a new wallet address for mining before the Siacoin hard fork (around 24:00 on October 31) .

F2Pool will suspend the payment of SiaClassic mining income for 3 days after the hard fork. If you do not change your mining wallet address in time, please contact F2Pool customer service to change your withdrawal address after verifying your identity.

3) If you want to mine Siacoin, you can use Obelisk mining machine and graphics card, configure the latest Siacoin mining pool address of F2Pool (pay attention to the official website of F2Pool, it will be announced later) for mining.

4) If you need to deposit, transfer, or mine Siacoin , please upgrade your wallet to version 1.3.7 .

The specific mining settings for Siacoin after the hard fork and the specific mining settings for SiaClassic will be launched on F2Pool later. Please pay attention to F2Pool to get the latest news at any time.
