Bitmain officially revealed the important parameters of the new 7nm Antminer product.

Following the release of the first pre-heating poster on Bitmain’s official Twitter yesterday, Antminer’s official Weibo account released the second pre-heating poster today, revealing that the new 7nm Antminer will have excellent performance in terms of power consumption and heat dissipation. It is reported that the two new 7nm Antminer products S15 and T15 will be officially launched on the official website at 14:00 Beijing time on November 8.

Although the tweet did not reveal detailed parameters, it can be seen from the poster information released this time that the two new mining machines S15 and T15 are equipped with the new 7nm ASIC chip independently developed by Bitmain. Combined with the 7nm chip parameters released by the company in September this year, we speculate that the performance of the new products will be greatly improved compared to the previous generation 16nm products.

Compared with the traditional Overmolding plastic packaging method, this solution leaves the back of the wafer open and directly contacts the heat dissipation interface material and the heat sink for heat dissipation. Therefore, the heat transfer efficiency will be more optimized than the traditional method, which is conducive to reducing the power consumption of the mining machine.

It is worth noting that the poster also revealed another key information - the new product is very likely to be an all-in-one machine. In other words, users will no longer need to purchase a mining machine power supply separately, which is more convenient for mine management. Regarding the new product models, Bitmain has officially released a Twitter post mentioning that it will launch two products, S15 and T15. As we all know, the previous S series and T series of Antminers are SHA256 algorithm mining machines.
