Bitcoin Generator Scam Website Has Profited 0.8 BTC

According to CCN, the website with the domain name bitcoin-generator-2018.bid claims to be able to "generate" bitcoins on behalf of users, and has so far made more than 0.8 BTC, or more than $2,700. CCN proved that this is a scam website by testing its "service". It is reported that visitors will be asked to enter their wallet address and the number of bitcoins they need when they enter the website. After entering, a JavaScript script will start running, making visitors mistakenly believe that their computers have begun to attack the Bitcoin network and "generate" Bitcoins. The website will ask visitors to remit "transaction fees" to a certain address. |
