HYC (HYCON) Mining Tutorial

HYC (HYCON) Mining Tutorial

HYCON, referred to as HYC, is a faster and more scalable cryptocurrency developed by the Infinity project team. HYC uses the Cryptonight algorithm, but does not support ASIC miners. It supports CPU and GPU (N card, A card) mining, and requires the use of XMRig mining software officially modified by HYC.

1. Get the wallet address

Like all other cryptocurrency mining processes, you first need a wallet address to receive HYC mining income, which can be obtained through the following ways:

Full Node Wallet ( Windows & MacOS & Linux ) :

Exchange:

OKEx

Note: Different countries have different regulatory policies on exchanges, and the relevant risks are borne by the miners themselves.

2. Get mining software

F2Pool version mining software ( NVIDIA & AMD & CPU )

Original miner software

The original miner software requires miners to create batch files by themselves and configure them according to the following parameters;

The F2Pool version has created a batch file for miners. The default mining pool is F2Pool. You only need to replace the wallet address in the configuration parameters with your own HYC wallet address and save the settings.

3. Mining Settings

Download the corresponding mining software. Take N card as an example. After decompression, find the "start.bat" file, as shown below:

Right-click the "start.bat" file, select "Edit", open it, and write the following parameters:

N card: xmrig-nvidia -o stratum+tcp://hyc.f2pool.com:9081 -u wallet address.miner number-px

Note: CUDA needs to be installed or upgraded for N cards, and CUDA 10.0 is recommended . The miner number is customizable and can be a combination of numbers or letters. The wallet address and miner number are separated by an English period ".".

A card: xmrig-amd -o stratum+tcp://hyc.f2pool.com:9081 -u wallet address.miner number-px

CPU: xmrig -o stratum+tcp://hyc.f2pool.com:9081 -u wallet address.miner number-px

As shown below:

Set the mining pool address, port number, wallet address and worker number, verify that they are correct, save and exit the "start" file, then double-click to run the "start" file to start mining.

4. Check the income

After the machine runs for a while and submits data to the mining pool, you can check the operating status and income of the mining machine. You can visit the F2Pool ( https://www.f2pool.com ) official website, enter the wallet address in the search bar in the upper right corner, and click View to view the mining machine status and income.

You can also log in through the F2Pool App ( click to download ), select "Quick View" in the lower right corner of the login page, and enter the HYC wallet address set in the mining software.
