Bitmain responds to Xindao Interconnect layoffs: No branch has been set up in Taiwan, the two parties only have a business cooperation relationship

According to the Odaily Planet Daily, in response to the rumor that "Bitmain's Taiwan branch Xindao Interconnection has laid off half of its employees", Bitmain responded that Xindao Interconnection is not a subsidiary of Bitmain, Bitmain has not established a branch in Taiwan, and the two parties only have a business cooperation relationship. Xin Technology announced on January 7 that Bitmain originally came to Taiwan to set up a new branch in July 2017, and in late December 2018, it was also reported that the operation was facing a dilemma. According to industry insiders who are familiar with Xindao Interconnection's R&D executives, Xindao Interconnection has successively interviewed R&D colleagues in late December and may cut the number of approximately 200 R&D engineers currently recruited by half to reduce costs.
