KMD (Komodo) Mining Tutorial

Komodo, referred to as KMD, is a privacy-centric cryptocurrency that redefines the blockchain platform through a multi-chain architecture. The mining algorithm is Equihash200.9, the same algorithm as ZEC, and the same mining software and mining machines can be used. It supports GPU and ASIC mining machines such as Xindong Miner A9, Antminer Z9, and Z9mini mining.

1. Mining equipment and mining environment

Mining equipment: GPU (low computing power and profit, not recommended), ASIC mining machine (Innominator A9, Antminer Z9, Z9mini mining).

2. Get the wallet address

The KMD wallet address can be obtained from the following channels:

【Official full node wallet and mobile wallet】: https://komodoplatform.com/komodo-wallets/.

【Exchange】: Binance; Huobi.

After completing the registration on the exchange, find KMD to recharge and you can get the wallet address.

Note: Different countries have different regulatory policies on exchanges, and the relevant risks are borne by the miners themselves.

3. Mining Settings

First, obtain the IP address of the mining machine through IP search tools or routers, then enter the mining machine IP in the address bar of the computer browser, enter the mining machine background, find "Miner Configuration" or "Pools" (different mining machines have different names) to set up mining. The parameter settings are as follows:

URL/Pool: Fill in the F2Pool KMD mining pool address stratum+tcp://kmd.f2pool.com:3300

Worker/User: wallet address.worker number . The worker number is used to name the mining machine, which is convenient for distinguishing the mining machine; the wallet address and the worker number are separated by an English period ".". For example, RJw4PzUu8XFnVb1zrtwdU3fAzjrW6Ma3qN.001

Password: You can set it at will.

After verifying that the above information is correct, save the settings and run it to enjoy the mining benefits.

4. Check the income

After the machine runs for a while and submits data to the mining pool, you can check the operating status and income of the mining machine. You can visit the F2Pool ( https://www.f2pool.com ) official website, enter the wallet address in the search bar in the upper right corner, and click View to view the mining machine status and income.

You can also log in through the F2Pool App ( click to download ), select "Quick View" in the lower right corner of the login page, and enter the KMD wallet address set in the mining software to log in.
