Since the sharp rise of BTC and BCH, mining machines that process the SHA-256 algorithm have begun to bring considerable profits to miners. According to reports in December last year, only 5 mining machines based on the SHA-256 algorithm were profitable. At present, the situation has changed and most devices are running well. Based on an average of $0.1 per kilowatt-hour, the top ten most profitable mining machines can make a profit of $10 to $15 per day, such as Asicminer Pro (76TH/s), Antminer S17 (56TH/s), Innosilicon T3 (52TH/s) and Bitfury Tardis (80TH/s).

In addition, if the miner is located in mainland China and the electricity rate is $0.04 per kilowatt-hour, the miner using the new mining machine can earn $15 to $21 per day.

It is worth mentioning that with the arrival of the rainy season, the electricity cost in Sichuan Province can be as low as 0.08 yuan (0.01 US dollars), which means that a mining pool with high-performance mining machines can make a profit of 25 US dollars per mining machine per day.
