Sun said that the decision to move this year's Buffett charity lunch to the Bay Area further highlights the efforts of the San Francisco-based Glide Foundation in philanthropy. Tron said that Buffett's annual charity lunch has always been held at Smith & Wollensky, a steakhouse in New York City. The restaurant has donated $100,000 to the Glide Foundation in the past. As an alternative, Sun Yuchen will donate another $100,000 to Glide this year. The specific location and time of the lunch will be announced later, and Sun Yuchen has the right to invite seven guests to attend with him.
