Coinciding with the second anniversary of BCH, an actual profit test was conducted on the mainstream BCH mining pools (the top four in terms of computing power).

Since the BCH mining pool and the BTC mining pool have a high degree of overlap, the comprehensive testing of the mining pool can refer to the comprehensive evaluation of the Bitcoin mining pool.

Remark:

1. Since BCH uses the DDA algorithm (difficulty is adjusted block by block), it is impossible to accurately obtain the theoretical PPS income within the test mining range.

2. Due to the DDA algorithm, the difficulty of mining blocks in each mining pool is different. The measurement standard of revenue and computing power should be based on the relationship between fixed difficulty share and revenue . This test still uses the actual revenue of the mining pool as the measurement standard.

3. BCH mining pool fee rate and settlement method:

Remark:

1. Since BCH uses the DDA algorithm that adjusts the difficulty block by block, the difficulty and PPS theoretical return change block by block, so the actual rate is not calculated.

2. The BTC.com mining pool connected two mining machines on the 25th, causing the computing power to be abnormal compared to other mining pools.

3. Because mining pools all use PPS, PPS+ or FPPS, and the computing power is proportional to the number of shares, the actual revenue per T is calculated to compare the actual revenue of the mining pool .

4. The mining pool profit calculator usually uses the average difficulty of the current 24 hours ago, so there is a large error between the calculator's calculation results and the actual profit.

• This profit evaluation does not take into account the gift of coins from joint mining.

• The ranking of mining pool revenue in this evaluation:

  AntPool > BTC.TOP > BTC.com > huobi.pool

• The evaluation results show that the actual per-T revenue of BCH is relatively small.

• Due to the DDA model, the mining pool's profit measurement standard should be the number of Shares per unit difficulty. Most mining pools have not disclosed the Share and difficulty information, which is extremely opaque. I hope the mining pool can provide a Share download entrance.
