Jiang Zhuoer commented on the anonymous donation incident of Grin: Grin is indeed a good coin, the only uncool thing is the price

Mars Finance reported that in response to the Grin development fund receiving an anonymous donation of 50 BTC, Jiang Zhuoer, CEO of Litecoin Mining Pool, commented on Weibo today: "In fact, Grin is indeed a good coin, the technology is cool, the community is cool, the only thing that is not cool is the price."

Jiang Zhuoer explained that the reason why Grin’s price is not cool is that there are several bigwigs from Core behind Grin. “Grin practices a monetary policy of not halving Core output (constant output of 50 coins/block) and unlimited total volume. This shows how wrong and absurd the Core route is.”

On November 12, Grin committee member Lehnberg said in the grin-forum forum that the Grin development fund received another anonymous donation of 50 BTC (worth about $435,000) from a Bitcoin "ancient god group" from the 2009-2010 period. In May of this year, this mysterious donor also donated 50 BTC to the grin development fund.

Litecoin founder Charlie Lee later revealed in a Telegram group that the mysterious person was Satoshi Nakamoto. The reason he gave was that after checking the donation address, the information showed that the transaction account of the donation address was established nine years ago. Grin developer David Burkett laughed and said that although he hoped that it was donated by Satoshi Nakamoto, there was no evidence to prove it.
