According to BlockBeats, the Filecoin testnet will be launched next Wednesday, December 11.

According to the latest roadmap provided by Filecoin officials at the end of September, the test network is expected to be launched on December 11. There is no official change yet, and the official main network is expected to be launched in Q1 2020.

BlockBeats has reported that Filecoin's development testnet will require single GPU or multi-GPU mining. Currently, the Filecoin team is testing the mining performance of graphics cards such as Nvidia 2080ti. Some people believe that the previously popular CPU mining machines will not be able to participate in Filecoin mining, while Ethereum graphics card mining machines will have the opportunity to participate in mining.
