KDA (Kadena) Mining Tutorial

Kadena (KDA for short) has both a public chain and a consortium chain. Kadena's consortium chain can be integrated with its public chain network and become part of it (public chain), creating new market use cases. Chainweb is Kadena's public chain platform, which uses an interwoven, parallel PoW consensus protocol, greatly improving the network's throughput and scalability.

The KDA mining algorithm is Blake2S, which supports FPGA and GPU mining.

1. Mining equipment and mining environment

Mining equipment: FPGA (such as Blackminer), GPU (mainstream N card, A card can be used).

Operating system: Windows, Linux, Mac.

Mining software: minerOS; Easy Miner; Open Source Miner; GMiner, etc.

2. Get the wallet address

Exchange wallet:

Hotbit.

Register and log in to the exchange, find KDA recharge, and you can get the KDA wallet address.

Note: Different countries have different regulatory policies on exchanges, and the relevant risks are borne by the miners themselves.

3. Get mining software

The mining software can be obtained through the following link.

F2Pool Version (NVIDIA & AMD):

The F2Pool version has created a batch file for miners. The default mining pool is F2Pool. Miners only need to replace the wallet address or username in the configuration parameters with their own wallet address and username, and save the settings.

Original miner software:

The system ROM supports USB and diskless installation, and has built-in third-party original mining software such as Claymore, Bminer, ccminer, EWBF, etc.

It can mine various graphics card currencies such as ETH and Grin with one click; it supports overclocking, group control, and online upgrades; it pursues the completeness of miner functions and developer tools; all source codes are open source, and miners will never be charged extra fees.

4. Set mining parameters and start mining

4.1 MinerOS mining settings

For users who are using minerOS for the first time, please refer to the tutorial: https://www.mineros.cn/index.php/zh/course/primary

Create a KDA mining template, as shown below. Select f2pool as the default mining pool and fill in your KDA wallet address, then apply it to the mining machine.

4.2 GMiner mining settings

Obtain the GMiner mining software through the above methods, select "Extract files to current folder", and find the "start.bat" batch file, as shown in the figure below:

Right-click the corresponding "start.bat" batch file, select "Edit", and set the parameters as follows:

KDA Single Mining:

miner.exe –algo blake2s –server kda.f2pool.com:5400 –user wallet_address.worker_name

ETH & KDA dual mining:

miner –algo eth+kda –server eth.f2pool.com:6688 –user username.worker_name –dserver kda.f2pool.com:5400 –duser wallet_address.worker_name

When using the F2Pool version of the mining software, you only need to replace the username (fish pool username) and wallet_address (wallet address) in the "start.bat" batch file with your own fish pool username and wallet address, save the settings and run the corresponding "start.bat" batch file ( Note: whichever file is modified will be run ). The username (fish pool username) and worker_name (miner number, give the machine a name, custom such as a number or a combination of letters), as well as the wallet_address (wallet address) and worker_name (miner number, give the machine a name, custom such as a number or a combination of letters) must be separated by an English period . When modifying, only modify the corresponding characters, and do not add or subtract spaces or punctuation.

After verifying that the information you filled in is correct, save and exit the "start.bat" file, then double-click to run the modified "start.bat" batch file to start mining.

5. Check the income

After the machine runs for a while and submits data to the mining pool, you can check the operating status and income of the mining machine. You can visit the official website of F2Pool ( https://www.f2pool.com ), enter the wallet address in the search bar in the upper right corner, and click "View" to view the mining machine status and income.

You can also view it through the F2Pool App ( click to download ), select "Quick View" on the login page, enter the KDA wallet address set in the mining software, and log in.
