Filecoin updates its development roadmap, testnet phase 2 will be delayed by 6 weeks

According to BlockBeats, Filecoin recently released its 2020 development roadmap, discussing the latest progress since the release of the first phase of the testnet, as well as the latest roadmap information about the second phase of the testnet and the mainnet release. Filecoin launched the first phase of the testnet on December 11, 2019. The testnet currently has a storage capacity of 3.6PiB+.

The second phase of the Filecoin testnet will implement multiple secure, interoperable technologies. According to the roadmap released in 2019, the second phase of the Filecoin testnet is expected to be carried out between January and March 2020. After the completion of Testnet Phase 2, Filecoin will have one month to complete the preparation and launch of the Filecoin mainnet.
