Currency Introduction

PangolinCoin (English name: PengolinCoin, English abbreviation: PGO) is a cryptocurrency project created by French geeks during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has a total amount of 100 million and uses the Cryptonight_turtle (pico) algorithm. It has the technical advantages of security, anonymity, and ASIC resistance. The vision is to exchange currencies at a very low cost.

1. Mining equipment and mining environment

Mining equipment: CPU/GPU

Mining algorithm: Cryptonight_turtle (pico)

Mining software: xmrig

2. Get the wallet address

Currently, PGO uses addresses for mining. To obtain mining income, you need to prepare a wallet address first.

You can get the official node wallet address through the following link: https://github.com/pengolincoin/pengolin-wallet-electron/releases/tag/1.0.3

Note: When mining, please use the address generated by the wallet directly. Wallet addresses with paymnet ID are not supported yet.

3. Obtain mining software (for demonstration purposes only, not limited to this software)

4. Set mining parameters and start mining

1. Download xmrig from the above link, select "Extract files to current folder", and find the "start" file, as shown below:

2. Right-click "start" and select "Edit". In the "start" file, set the parameters as follows:

wallet_address: Fill in your PGO wallet address. The address format with payment ID is not supported.

miner: Enter your miner name (mining machine name, letters or numbers are acceptable)

3. After the settings are completed, it will be as shown below:

4. Save and close the file, then double-click to run the "start" file to start mining.

5. Check the income

After the machine runs for a while and submits data to the mining pool, you can view the operating status and income of the mining machine. You can visit the DxPool (https://www.dxpool.com/) official website, enter the wallet address in the search bar in the upper right corner, and click View to view the mining machine status and income.
