Innosilicon released the full text of the announcement on May 2, stating that Changdian deliberately avoided the fact that the packaging quality problems in 2018 caused significant losses to customers and filed a lawsuit against them, spread false information to discredit the plaintiff, intended to affect normal litigation activities, and seriously damaged the reputation of Innosilicon.

Innosilicon said that after discovering serious quality problems in March 2018, it immediately reported them to Changdian Technology and issued a test report, repeatedly asking Changdian Technology to compensate for the problem. At first, Changdian Technology cooperated with the negotiations. The relevant personnel immediately admitted that there were reliability problems in the packaging, and proposed a temporary solution of non-standard medium and low temperature solder paste in the industry to reduce the probability of reliability problems in the packaging. They also sent a team of more than ten people to visit and apologize, and agreed to report to the senior management to negotiate with Innosilicon as soon as possible for the amount of compensation for the losses that had been caused. It is reported that during the same period, Changdian Technology was engaged in similar packaging business, and major quality problems such as substrate delamination and pin cracking occurred, and commercial and payment disputes occurred. Innosilicon was not the only one. Because of this, from March to June 2018, when Innosilicon was waiting for the compensation plan and did not continue to pay, Changdian knew that it was in the wrong and did not stop shipping. However, in June 2018, after Changdian Technology suddenly seized a large number of wafers and chips, it began to shirk responsibility and avoid normal compensation negotiations with Innosilicon. Innosilicon has urged to solve the problem many times in the past two years, but Changdian refused to show up.
