What does Mr. Ouma think about the trend of the digital currency market this year? How do you predict the trend after the “BTC halving”? Ouma: The 5.12 halving does not seem to have brought about a big market. Looking back at the previous two halvings, we will find that the favorable market conditions brought about by the halving event do not occur immediately, but will stabilize for a period of time. Because the halving only provides a basic fermentation soil for the market, and then the market will catalyze it, which takes a certain amount of time. During this period of time, the price of the currency rises and falls, which are normal market reactions and behaviors. According to the historical experience of the halving market, the first halving was on November 28, 2012, and the real bull market did not come until half a year later. The second halving was on July 10, 2016, when the price was 645.32. Six months after the halving, until January 4, 2017, the price reached 1,075 US dollars. The impact of this market can only be seen clearly from the perspective of six months later. In the long run, the price of coins will definitely rise, and the bull market will definitely come. However, the situation this year may be more complicated, because the epidemic, the 3.12 black swan event, the flood season, and the halving all happened at the same time.
