Craig Wright publicly "admitted" stealing 80,000 bitcoins from Mt.Gox?

Ricardo Spagni, also known as Fluffy Pony, the developer of the anonymous cryptocurrency Monero, has tweeted that Craig Wright is involved in a bitcoin wallet associated with Mt. Gox, once the world's largest bitcoin exchange, which lost about 750,000 bitcoins in a 2014 hack.

“We are now clear that Craig Wright has just publicly admitted (via his lawyers) to being the person who stole 80k BTC from Mt. Gox,” Spagni said in a June 12 tweet.

He said that Craig Wright's law firm wrote to Bitcoin Core saying that Craig Wright had 79,566 bitcoins in a bitcoin address starting with '1Feex'. However, according to court documents, this address is one of the addresses to which the stolen bitcoins from Mt.Gox flowed.

Craig Wright's law firm said that Craig Wright's company owns the bitcoins in this bitcoin address starting with '1Feex'

Court documents show that the address starting with '1Feex' is exactly the address to which the stolen bitcoins from Mt.Gox went.

He added:

“The following screenshot is from a court document, which shows that Craig Wright’s law firm stated that the Bitcoin address beginning with ‘1Feex’ belongs to Craig Wright, and this address is exactly where the stolen Mt Gox Bitcoin funds were remitted. What do you say, Calvin Ayre (Craig Wright’s biggest supporter)?”

This news has been widely discussed, or "ridiculed" in the Twitter crypto community. Netizens believe that the actions of Craig Wright's lawyer are simply stupid and unbelievable. Some people also joked that the 80,000 bitcoins must have been given to him by hackers.
