How can new infrastructure help modernize government governance and promote high-quality development of the digital economy? How can blockchain empower new infrastructure? On May 28, the Two Sessions Cloud Living Room held a "New Infrastructure Moment" and invited representatives, local government leaders, experts and scholars, and outstanding corporate representatives in the new infrastructure to discuss new infrastructure.

"We have moved from the traditional economy to the digital economy, and the digital economy will start from the lives of our people and move towards the entire social industry." Wang Xiaochuan, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and CEO of Sogou, said that with the development of artificial intelligence technology, machines have begun to have more technologies to imitate human expressions, appearance or voice, and this technology can already replace the anchors of some programs. Regarding the issue of blockchain technology assisting government digital governance, Feng Kui, deputy director of the Central Economic Committee of the China Democratic League and researcher at the China Center for Urban and Small Town Reform and Development, took the development plans of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle as examples, and pointed out the five major roles that blockchain technology can play in solving problems such as the diversification of new spaces and the decentralization of data: "First, promote the formation of a community of interests in new spaces through a consensus mechanism. Second, create transparent and trustworthy application scenarios through smart contracts. Third, build a joint and collaborative decision-making mechanism through data sharing. Fourth, improve the efficiency of government affairs and business by optimizing government service processes. Dong Xuegeng, director of the Hainan Provincial Big Data Administration, said that as of now, the coverage rate of Hainan Province's health one-code pass has reached 124%. The construction of the epidemic prevention and control big data system not only covers all residents in the province, but also ensures that migrant workers and tourists can also receive the code, which has helped Hainan Province achieve the two requirements of external input and internal prevention of spread.
