On July 8, the Central Bank Digital Currency Research Institute and Didi Chuxing officially reached a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly explore the scenario innovation and application of digital RMB in the field of smart travel. So far, in addition to being used to pay party dues, transportation subsidies and the Winter Olympics, the Central Bank's digital currency has added another application scenario.
Regarding this cooperation, Beijing Business Daily quoted Didi Chuxing as saying that the company will, under the guidance of relevant departments, cooperate with the Digital Currency Research Institute to strictly implement the guidelines put forward by the Party Central Committee and the State Council to improve the ability of financial services to serve the real economy, and promote the integrated development of the digital economy and the real economy.
After the news was released, the digital currency sector as a whole rose by nearly 3%, among which Huali Technology, Feitian Chengxin and Yinzhijie rose by more than 10%, and HaiLian Jinhui, Julong Co., Ltd., KeLan Software and GRG UnionPay all recorded an increase of more than 8%.

In fact, since entering July, the digital currency sector has entered an upward channel, rising 16% on the 8th. The stock prices of companies such as Huali Technology, Feitian Chengxin and Yinzhijie have returned to the level of February this year.
On the news front, good news about the central bank's digital currency has begun to emerge recently. On July 7, the Central Bank's Digital Currency Research Institute announced the "Digital Research Star Program", which opened internship positions in Suzhou, Shenzhen and Beijing. (Note: Suzhou and Shenzhen are both test sites for the central bank's digital currency)
Given that most of the previous recruitment positions were related to technology and products, this recruitment is mainly for people related to computers, economics and finance, mathematics, statistics, etc. Some analysts believe that this will "continuously accelerate the research and development, testing, and promotion of digital currencies, and the pace of implementation in the later stage is expected to exceed expectations."
