According to Deepchain Finance, at around 3:00 a.m. on July 16, 2020, Beijing time, researchers from the CertiK security team detected that several influential accounts on Twitter were stolen, and phishing information about Bitcoin was released one by one. The attack began with blockchain industry such as Gemini Exchange, Coinbase Exchange, Binance Exchange CEO Zhao Changpeng, Tron CEO Sun Yuchen, and blockchain media Coindesk. Later, it became a viral spread, including Bill Gates, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Bloomberg founder Bloomberg, Apple official account, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, famous singer Kanye West, former US President Obama and Joseph Biden. |
