Hangzhou encourages enterprises to actively strive for and take the lead in carrying out the central bank's digital currency settlement pilot

On July 28, the Hangzhou Development and Reform Commission, together with the High-tech Zone (Binjiang) Management Committee and Government, held an on-site meeting and expert seminar to promote the "Six New" development in Hangzhou.

At the meeting, the construction guidelines for the "Ten Demonstration Scenarios" for Hangzhou's "Six New" development were released. The "Ten" demonstration scenarios were proposed in conjunction with Hangzhou's "Action Plan for Strengthening Digital Empowerment and Promoting Six New Developments". They are also based on the new economic creation laws driven by innovation and scenarios in the context of the new era of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.

In terms of cultivating the blockchain industry ecosystem, Hangzhou will accelerate the innovation and demonstration application of blockchain technology, and support key leading enterprises and platform enterprises in the city to explore and establish an industrial ecosystem based on blockchain. In the process of accelerating the pilot of the central bank's digital currency, enterprises in the city are encouraged to actively strive for and take the lead in carrying out the settlement pilot of the central bank's digital currency.
