Listed crypto mining company Riot Blockchain purchased another 8,000 S19 Pros from Bitmain

According to Blockbeats, on August 17, documents disclosed by Riot Blockchain, a Nasdaq-listed crypto mining company, showed that the company will purchase 8,000 Antminer S19 Pros from Bitmain starting in January 2021. The clear delivery schedule of this purchase agreement is from January 2021 to April 2021, with 2,000 units delivered per month. After full deployment, Riot expects its total computing capacity to be approximately 1.45 EH/s, while consuming approximately 47 megawatts (MW) of energy. The company's head said that this mining machine order shows that "the second phase of Riot's strategic transformation is progressing smoothly."
