Tellor TRB will release the Tellor V2 testnet on August 25 and is expected to launch the mainnet on September 8

Today, Tellor released the Tellor V2 testnet miner on github.

Tellor v2 Miner is the v2 version of the mining program that will be released on the Rinkeby testnet on August 25th.

If the testnet is successful, the switch to the mainnet is expected to take place on September 8.

Tellor v2 is a major version upgrade of Tellor. This upgrade has made many mining optimizations to improve Tellor efficiency and reduce mining gas.

V2 upgrade features:

1. The block interval is changed to 2 minutes, and 5 requestIds are submitted for each block.

2. In order to be more decentralized, each miner address can only produce one block within 1 hour , and miners with large computing power (such as mining pools) need more mortgage addresses.

3. For multiple rounds of dispute, the first penalty is as low as 15 TRB (previously 1000 TRB), and if there is an objection, it will increase to 30 TRB, and so on.

4. Miners are not required to addTips.

5. The gas fee required for mining each block is averaged, and TRB is automatically paid for each block, without having to wait for the fifth block to make payment.

   
   

Tellor aims to make oracle services more decentralized through POW mining. Oracle is the underlying setting of DeFi and provides price feed services for DeFi. Recently, the concept of oracle has also increased a lot, and Tellor has also seen a gratifying increase, attracting many fans.

Tellor, as a DEFI project that can be mined by POW mining machines, allows both traditional and new investors to get rich together.
