Its goal is to make the web faster, more secure, and more open. Due to the large scope, this weekly newsletter aims to track developments across the ecosystem.

Hot on the heels of Chromium’s support for dweb protocols, including ipfs://, Chrome Beta announced that it has expanded its safelist of distributed web schemes to registerProtocolHandler(). IPFS is included alongside cabal, dat, dake, dweb, ethereum, hyper, ipns, and ssb.

Calling all builders! We are looking for as many IPFS projects as possible to integrate with Filecoin by September 18th. ProtocolLabs can provide grants for large projects that can potentially meet this timeline, as well as support from our engineering team and community.
